The Creative Craft Show, June 2019

The ultimate event for hobbyists and crafters is back, and Warrillow Studio will be part of the Crafty Beggars team for this amazing three day event at Birmingham's NEC this June, from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th.

There will be an amazing array of creative crafts, all under one roof, with supplies, shopping, ideas and inspiration everywhere you turn. Read on for more tempting details, plus a special half price entry ticket offer!

The Crafty Beggars Emporium is the wonderful Wendy Turner-Webster’s version of a crafting sweetshop! Products range from crafting staples like acrylic drops, stencils and embossing powder to personally sourced ‘limited availability’ items for the more ambitious crafter, such as vintage stamps, broken vintage china… …beach finds and pages of original sheet music. At the June show Wendy will be demonstrating how the Crafty Beggars Emporium products can be used, inspiring visitors with a whole host of creative projects.

There will be four different workshops with myself, over the course of the three days. Above is an example of a flower crown you could make, in a one and a half hour workshop, being held on Saturday.

On Sunday, you have the chance to join me for an hour to make these gorgeous little beaded hair pins. Using seed beads and either pearls or crystals, you will make a set of three to decorate any gorgeous up-do!

On both Friday and Saturday you have the chance to dip your toe into the wonderful world of millinery in this workshop to create a gorgeous little fascinator comb. Using lace, beads and an amazing material called sinamay, I will guide you through each element of this fascinator, with the end result a design that is your own, unique creation.

On Sunday you can get ready for the festival season with the second style of your very own, handmade flower crown. Rather than fabric flowers, this one is made with a variety of eco-friendly paper flowers.

In between the workshops I will be on the Crafty Beggars stand with help and advice for getting started with millinery and hair accessories, and of course with hats and fascinators to try on and see up close. There will also be a range of kits available and lots of hat-talk to be had!

Also in Team Crafty Beggars is the amazing Lisa from Tigerlily Makes. Lisa will also be running some fabulous workshops, including this super-cute pin cushion, Alice In Wonderland themed bunting, and a ‘Summer Bloom in a tin.’

Sound good?! If it has whetted your appetite, and you would love to come and join us in June, then I have just the offer for you… HALF PRICE entry tickets!!! Click HERE to book your tickets, and simply enter the code EV183 at the checkout for your exclusive discount!
